Covid-19 Policy

Keeping you and yours safe

As we continue to face the challenges brought on by Covid-19, Pro Jet Africa is committed to the safety of our guests and crew. Together with our partners at Fireblade Aviation, we have adopted the strictest hygiene protocols both on and off the aircraft.

A summary of these procedures as follows:

Port Health:

For local or international passenger flights, guests will be required to complete the Passenger Health Assessment Form and either submit this to Pro Jet Africa prior to flight or present to the Port Health official on the day of the flight.

Temperature Screening:

Handheld, non-contact infrared thermometers will be used to measure body temperature of our guests before entering the FBO.

Face Masks:

All guests will be required to wear a face mask. Physical distancing markers have been placed throughout the FBO. All guests boarding flights will be screened again by a Port Health official before boarding and after disembarkation.

All baggage is handled by staff wearing full PPE. Baggage will be taken to the baggage disinfection station and will be disinfected with an approved disinfectant.

Sanitise on entry:

Fully automatic hand sanitiser stations throughout the FBO.

Unfortunately, no food will be served in the lounge. In-flight catering can be arranged. As standard, Pro Jet Africa charter flights offer guests in-flight liquid refreshments and individually wrapped snacks.

Social Distancing:

Guests are reminded to please wear facemasks and keep a minimum separation of 1,5 meters. Distance markers are seen throughout the Fireblade lounge.

Boarding Procedures:

Guests are required to sanitise prior to boarding the aircraft. In addition, temperature screening is mandatory.

In-Flight Experience:

The wearing of masks inside the cabin of the aircraft is mandatory. In the event of a passenger falling ill, the crew will divert to the nearest suitable airport equipped with Port Health assistance. In addition, every aircraft is equipped with an in-flight Covid kit. Crew may conduct in-flight temperature screening at their discretion.

Aircraft  protocols:

Each of the Pro Jet Africa aircraft are sanitised both prior to and after every flight. This is recorded by the crew.
